Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters release book on women's rights around the world
Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn's much anticipated book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, was launched on September 8, 2009. Equality Now has been featured in the book along with many other leading women's rights organizations from around the world. Equality Now's campaign against abduction, rape, and forced marriage in Ethiopia and the work of our Trafficking Fund grantee Ruchira Gupta of Apne Aap, India are highlighted in this inspiring book.
