girls in Uzbekistan, Equality Now presents a detailed submission to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeas.europa.eu\/uzbekistan\/european-union-and-uzbekistan_en#9136\">EU-Uzbekistan Human Rights Dialogue 2024<\/a>. The report assesses recent legal reforms to address sexual and domestic violence and identifies remaining challenges hindering effective access to justice for survivors.<\/p>\n<p>Despite recent legislative advancements in Uzbekistan, significant issues remain, including the need to improve laws on violence against women, specifically sexual violence, and enhance criminal justice response and prevention measures.\u00a0 The submission from Equality Now was developed in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/istiqbolliavlod.uz\/en\">NGO \u2018Istiqbolli Avlod\u2019<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istiqbolliavlod.uz\/en\">\u2018NIHOL\u2019 Initiative\u2019s Development and Supporting Centre<\/a>, Centre for Scientific, Social, and Humanitarian Initiatives Oila and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istiqbolliavlod.uz\/en\">Public Unity \u2018Yuksak Salohiyat<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Equality Now\u2019s report urges the EU Delegation to promote legal reforms that align with
