Key recommendations

This joint report deals with our concerns regarding:

    1. The discriminatory legislation related to family status laws, focusing on how Palestinian women’s rights are violated in relation to CEDAW Article 16; and
    2. Penal Law issues and Gender-Based Violence in relation to CEDAW General Recommendations (19) and (35).

The Committee referenced this submission in their Concluding Observations.
