Ending FGM: From Global to Local
This webinar, exploring how countries can use legal and advocacy pathways to eliminate female genital mutilation by 2030, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), took place as part of the High-Level Political Forum in July 2020.
The event, hosted by Equality Now, in collaboration with Kenya’s Anti FGM Board and partners in Liberia and India, examined the obstacles to states achieving SDG 5.3 at the national level and how countries can use legal and advocacy pathways to eliminate FGM by 2030.
