Ceri Sutherland
Programme Impact Analyst
Ceri joined Equality Now in January 2023 as the Programme Impact Analyst. In this role, she works across all projects to understand and describe the impact of Equality Now’s work on the lives of women and girls, as well as to find easy and engaging ways to present the impact of the work externally.
Before joining Equality Now, Ceri worked as a researcher for Oxfam and the Scottish Government. She is the happiest listening to people’s stories and exploring the bigger picture, whether that’s understanding the discrimination they have faced and how to overcome it or finding ways to create transformational change in the lives of discriminated against groups.
She is inspired by her childhood hero, Mancunian Emmeline Pankhurst and the role she played in the UK suffrage movement. Her favourite quote from her is, ‘’We are here, not because we are law-breakers, we are here in our efforts to become law-makers.’’
Ceri enjoys reading books and walking her dogs in her free time.
