Kelly Pavelich

Development Officer, Annual Fund

Kelly joined Equality Now in 2024. As Development Officer, she manages our Annual Fund, which is an important source of revenue for Equality Now, and donor communications.

Originally from Seattle, Kelly is based out of Richmond, Virginia. She attended Occidental College and graduated with a BA in Diplomacy & World Affairs. She previously interned at UNFPA and spent six years at NAMI National. Years later, she is still proud of her thesis, which was published in The Global Societies Journal and touched on water privatization and the impact it can have on women.

Kelly’s feminist inspiration is Jane Goodall. She has met her several times and interned at her foundation briefly after college. In high school, she begged her mom to let her skip so they could drive five hours to hear her speak (she’s the best mom ever, so said yes). Her favorite JG quote is “The greatest danger to our future is apathy.”

In her free time, Kelly loves to read, write, and spend time with her dog, Boba.
