Our Team
Sarah joined Equality Now in July 2024 as the Global Digital Communications Manager. She leads the day-to-day running of Equality Now’s digital channels and helps plan, create, and deliver engaging content to reach key audiences, alongside supporting the implementation of Equality Now’s digital strategy.
Sarah has a BA in English Language and Linguistics, and an MA in Journalism. She has spent the last six years working for non-profits, leading communications to support their causes, most recently at UK charity Carers First, helping to identify and advocate for unpaid carers. Sarah is most proud of her work developing communications campaigns, particularly a campaign she ran in 2022 that won the best non-profit campaign at the UK Digital Excellence Awards.
Her feminist inspiration is her mum, who she says has always told her nothing is out of reach and supports her in everything she does. Sarah tries to be the same inspiration to her own daughters.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends – enjoying good food and conversation, as well as spending time with her cat, Penny.
