Wevyn joined Equality Now in 2025 as Project Manager in the Africa region.

Wevyn Muganda is a Gender and Peacebuilding expert with over eight years of experience in programme implementation across diverse regions, including Africa and South East Asia. Her expertise spans gender policy, systems thinking, and data-driven approaches, which she integrates to develop innovative solutions that advance gender equality and social justice.

Her educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in International Gender Studies from the University of Iceland and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Eldoret. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Leadership, Organizing, and Action Program at the Harvard Kennedy School, further honing her skills in strategic leadership and project management. Outside of work, she is a nature enthusiast who enjoys beach life and exploring nature.

Wevyn is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and speaks English and Swahili.
