Whilst we’ve seen the protests unfold over the past two months, the struggle for equality has been ongoing in Iran for decades

The death of Mahsa Amini, and many others, have compelled generations of women to speak out, joined by men, young and old, because they know that women’s equality is crucial for freedom in any society.

At our 30th Anniversary Gala, Equality Now was humbled and delighted to recognize the activism of the women and girls of Iran with the 5th annual Changemaker Award presented by Gucci and CHIME FOR CHANGE.
