Celebrating everyday activism In NYC
3 min read
Equality Now has been supporting the activism of women and girls around the world for the past 25 years. We have seen firsthand how each person can be an agent of change. Through activism in our spheres of influence and through supporting other’s activism, we have been changing the world.
Last Wednesday, we were thrilled to partner with NoVo Foundation at Google to co-host an amazing night of dynamic discussion with women who are shaping the future of New York City. Our incredible panel was moderated by Julie Scelfo, whose book The Women Who Made New York, served as the inspiration for the event. Our panelists discussed everything from the power of technology to ignite and support social change, to what it’s like to fight for gender equality in a male-dominated industry.
