Summary

The submission details our concerns regarding laws in the Russian Federation relating to domestic violence and rape; sex discrimination in labour laws; and restrictive laws governing NGO activity in the Russian Federation.

In the submission, we make key recommendations for the Russian Federation government to better address these areas of concern.

Equality Now presented key findings and recommendations at the 46th Ordinary Session of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC) in Maseru, Lesotho.
