This Facilitators’ Training Manual for CSOs on Shadow or Alternative Reporting on the Situation of the Rights of Women and Girls in Africa’ is a resource guide for facilitators/trainers undertaking capacity enhancement of CSOs in Africa and as a reference document for organizations intent on developing shadow or alternative reports on women’s rights under the Maputo Protocol and CEDAW.

Key recommendations

The development of this manual is part of the Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Programme partnership between the European Union, African Union Commission, Equality Now and UNDP to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls.
