Sexual Assualt Awareness Month

Ending sexual violence starts with the law

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a time to raise public awareness about sexual violence, educate communities on prevention, and support survivors in their pursuit of justice.

By fostering critical conversations and advocating for stronger protections, Equality Now and its partners aim to challenge the systems that enable sexual violence and push for a future where safety, accountability, and consent are non-negotiable and justice is accessible for all.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month reminds us that ending sexual violence is a collective responsibility — one that requires strong laws, effective implementation, and an intersectional approach.
